As you make your single parent travel or recreation plans, you may have difficulty coming up with places to visit. One way to lend variety to your life is to use the alphabet as inspiration for ideas.
You can use this method many ways. If you are looking for travel destinations, you would start with the letter ‘A’ and make a list of potential places that begin with ‘A.’ Examples would include Alaska, Alabama, the Alamo, etc. The next time you want to travel, you would look for places that start with the letter ‘B’ and so on as you go through the entire alphabet.
If travel is not in your budget, you can use the same method to find places to visit close to home. Start with findng local places that start with the letter ‘A.’ Some possibilities include parks, zoos, historical landmarks, recreational areas, lakes, etc.
You can also do the same method with restaurants. Choose a restaurant that starts with the letter ‘A.’ The beauty of this is that you will be forced to try new foods and eateries that you probably would never have considered before. You are bound to find some new favorites as you move through the alphabet. You also may stop the fights when kids always want to eat at their tried and true favorites if you can get them to buy into the alphabet adventure.
Use the alphabet to give some variety to your single parent travel, recreation or dining plans.
